During manufacture all the sharp edges are rounded to prevent the accidental pinching of the riflescope tube. The double hex screws & precision machined dovetail clamp rail fit snugly onto the rifle dovetail.
The dovetail clamp rail is reversible to fit both 3/8" (rimfire rifle) and 9-11mm (airgun) receivers.
